Catherine joined the firm in 2004. She holds a Diploma from the Law Society of Ireland in Property Tax.

Catherine leads a strong team in acting for a diverse range of private and corporate clients including Banks, Property Investors, Retailers, Farmers, Local Businesses and the voluntary sector in the sale, purchase, development and financing of residential and commercial properties, licensed premises and farms.

Catherine has extensive experience in the sale and purchase of distressed assets either in a restructuring or through formal processes and regularly acts for Banks and Insolvency Practitioners on Liquidations and Receiverships.

With particular expertise in the area of Maritime and Shipping law  Catherine also advises Banks in relation to ship finance transactions, drafting marine mortgages and other maritime security and the registration of vessels on the Irish Registry. She also advises Banks on all means of enforcement of maritime security to include arrest of vessels and appointment of Receivers.

Catherine’s team  provides comprehensive commercial and solution- driven advice, paying particular attention to risk analysis and the early identification of issues that are relevant to clients.

In 2016 Catherine was appointed Hon. Secretary of the Southern Law Association.
