AHERN ROBERTS O’ROURKE WILLIAMS & PARTNERS has announced the appointment of MAURA LAWTON and CATHERINE O’CALLAGHAN as partners to its litigation and property departments.
Maura Lawton leads a strong and experienced team in the Commercial Litigation and Debt Recovery Department. Maura specialises in advising financial institutions and receivers on contentious matters to include Judgment and Enforcement of Securities. Maura is very experienced in managing large and complex cases in all Courts.
Maura works with clients to manage risk in all areas of their business and advises on cost efficient recovery strategies and dispute resolution. With over 24 years’ experience in General Practice, Maura brings her broad ranging experience, skillset and knowledge to her role and her clients.
Catherine O’Callaghan heads up the Residential and Commercial Property Department. With over 10 years’ experience in property transactions, Catherine acts for a diverse range of private and corporate clients in the acquisition, sale, development, leasing and financing of residential and commercial properties. Catherine has developed a particular expertise in the area of Maritime and Shipping law, advising Banks in relation to ship finance transactions, drafting mortgages and maritime security and vessel registrations.
